Although, the other project, PM3 and
FC3 are hot favorite
among radio amateurs for RF Measurement, I wanted something smaller
& more economical for measurement of RF Signals accurately using
an LED Driver LM3914 and Log amplifier AD8307.
In this project a quality Double Sided PTH Board is
used measuring 65cm x 110mm in size powered by a 9V battery.
Bargraph LEDs (10) are used in this project which may be
mounted on either side of the PCB to facilitate mounting of this project
in a user preferred custom case.
AD8307 from Analog
Devices is used (SO8 Package) for basic RF measurement up to
500MHZ from -70dbm to +10dbm. To increase measurement range, a
20db switched attenuator is available.
